El Airsoft es reconocido como deporte en Chile

Luego de mas de 2 años de trabajo con la resolución Nro 245 del Instituto Nacional del Deporte de Chile se reconoce oficialmente desde el 20 de Enero del 2011 al Airsoft como una “Modalidad Deportiva”.
A continuación un extracto del anuncio hecho en airsoftchile.cl el último 21 de Enero.
“… Amigos y amigas que juegan Airsoft a lo largo de nuestro país, es muy grato para mi poder anunciar finalmente que nuestra solicitud de reconocimiento como “Deporte” ha sido ACEPTADA.
Formalmente desde ayer nuestro hobby pasó a ser una “Modalidad Deportiva” reconocida por el Instituto Nacional del Deporte, mediante la Resolución Exenta N° 245 del 20 de enero del 2011.
Con este documento se cierra un trabajo intenso de casi 2 años, llevado a cabo por un puñado de personas, quienes trabajaron arduamente por conseguir este reconocimiento, que beneficia a todos quienes juegan este –ahora- deporte, es un hito importante para los airsoferos chilenos, sin distingo de team, agrupación, Club Deportivo o Comunidad, hoy estamos de fiesta y transversalmente debiéramos estar felices con esta noticia, que es el requisito base para construir la anhelada Federación de Airsoft Nacional.
El impacto de este logro es de alcance internacional, posicionándonos entre los pocos que además de ser legal el airsoft en su país, cuentan con un reconocimiento formal de la organización gubernamental a cargo del Deporte, esto nos pone entre un circulo muy pequeño de países, el impacto más concreto es para las comunidades latinoamericanas que están haciendo la misma gestión que nosotros, esta resolución será un antecedente importante a la hora de pedir el reconocimiento de sus gobiernos, no cabe duda que estamos escribiendo una línea de la historia del airsoft a nivel internacional, razón para estar doblemente orgullosos de ser airsoferos chilenos. …”

Via this post from “Popular Airsoft” , I learned that Airsoft is now considered an Official Sport. A través de este mensaje de “Popular de Airsoft” , me enteré de que Airsoft es ahora considerado como un deporte oficial. Congratulations to my our chilean brothers and sisters for this great achievement, I feel jealous, as I hope that someday, Airsoft can also be considered an official sport in Mexico, my country. Felicitaciones a mis hermanos chilenos y hermanas de este gran logro, me siento celoso, como espero que algún día, Airsoft también puede ser considerado como un deporte oficial en México, mi país.
I’m sure that achieving the status of “Sport” is great for the Airsoft community in Chile, as I’m sure that means that they can now enjoy of several benefits, maybe some incentives from the Government as it happens here in Mexico with some sports and also, it is some sort of an endorsement from the Government to an activity that is good for public practice. Estoy seguro de que el logro de la condición de “deporte” es muy bueno para la comunidad de Airsoft en Chile, como estoy seguro de lo que significa que ahora pueden disfrutar de varias ventajas, tal vez algunos incentivos por parte del Gobierno como sucede aquí en México con algunos deportes y, además, es una especie de un aval del Gobierno a una actividad que es bueno para la práctica pública.
This recognition, also proves that Airsoft is growing in popularity, and I’m sure this recognition, is the work of several active and passionate Airsoft players down there. Este reconocimiento, también demuestra que el Airsoft está creciendo en popularidad, y estoy seguro de que este reconocimiento, es el trabajo de varios jugadores de Airsoft activa y apasionada por allí. This is good news as well for Airsoft in Latin America, as it sets a precedent that other countries in the region can follow.
